Audition Application
Prospective singers are asked to complete an Audition Application Form. The form can be submitted electronically to auditions@cherrycreekchorale.org or mailed to:

Submitting an application allows us to schedule your audition and share additional details.
Audition Notes
Auditions are held by appointment and typically last approximately 15 minutes. No special preparation is required.
Audition requirements include:

Prior choral experience

Basic knowledge of music notation
The audition will consist of:
-
Simple vocal exercises
-
Singing “America”
-
Sight-reading
-
An a cappella scale
-
Exercises demonstrating musical independence

A brief conversation with the Artistic Director
Our goal is to get to know you as a musician and determine the best fit for both you and the ensemble.
Rehearsals & Schedule
Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays from 6:45–9:15 pm at Bethany Lutheran Church in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado.
The Chorale’s season runs from late August through mid-May and includes four concert sets per year. Consistent attendance is expected and supported by an established attendance policy.
Dues & Attire
Chorale dues are $110 per semester.
Performance attire options include:

Tuxedos

Black dresses

Gender-neutral tunic and slacks
Financial assistance is available through the Cherry Blossom Fund, which helps ensure that participation is accessible to all qualified singers.
